The formwork has multiple formwork units (1), which are connectable among each other according to a floor plan. A connection of respective two adjacent formwork units sealingly takes place by connecting units (2) against invading groundwater. The formwork units` are implemented as a one-piece, L-shaped profile that surrounds a foundation floor from outside, where the floor has a groove-shaped side wall area (12). An independent claim is also included for a method of implementation of a lost formwork for a foundation floor of a building.
