Carrying belt arrangement comprises a carrying belt (13) to be fixed to a vehicle roof and floor, a holding belt (18) for receiving the handles of a stretcher and for sliding through a mounting to form a belt loop (26) and a spring element (27) placed in the loop for spreading the loop. Preferred Features: The mounting is connected to a carrying belt via an elastic element (22) so that when the loop is not loaded it is held in position in which the spring element spreads the loop. The spring element is a leaf spring. The elastic element is a rubber pull.
