It is a process for identifying of transport boxes for adjustable transport objects, in particular for the identification of packaging - beverage crates (1), with at least one of the box (1) surrounding the closed or closable, the respective identification (3) or the like having information volume (4). In this case, it is provided that from the strip (4) at least one loop (5) is formed by an opening (6, 7) in the circumferential wall (8) of the box (1) in the actuating range of at least of a drinks bottle (2) and guided after setting of the at least one transport against state (2) is wrapped around the latter, in such a way that the strip (4) into a contact position against the box (1) is held. Furthermore, it is a transport box, in particular a packaging - beverage crate (1), with such a strip (4) (fig. 1).
