The method involves providing a trust source to produce digital trust information. A token, with the trust information in un-coded form and secret information in coded form, is issued by the source. The secret information is known only to the source. The token and a public key for asymmetric encryption are transmitted to a trust bearer. The bearer is allowed as the user of the token to the source for using the trust information. An independent claim is also included for a network system including a subscriber as a trust source.
