The finishing and marking system integrated circuit building blocks has a laser station (10) containing a laser (12). A transport member (18) moves electronic building blocks (22) past the laser. Speed (24) and position (26) sensors are connected to a control circuit (28). The control circuit regulates the operation of the laser station, to engrave a pattern on the surface of the building blocks.
