The device has a mounting aid (1) with a recess to retain a rotation angle sensor (3) during a mounting process. A guide unit (5) is movably arranged in the aid and designed in such a manner that the unit (5) mechanically encompasses a support while mounting, and the position of the sensor is preset with appropriate difference angle compared to the support. The support has slotted holes via which the sensor is adjustably mounted. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening a sensor in a support using a mounting and adjusting device.
