The raceway has segments (1) enclosing wires transverse to their longitudinal extension. Adjacent segments are connected with each other by a connecting area (4) that is curved around an axis assigned transverse to the extension. The segments are designed at a common longitudinally-extended segment base wall (3), which is curved between the segments in the area, where one of other segment walls is designed as a hinged cover (5). An independent claim is also included for an application of a raceway for shifting of electrical conductor cables on a base plate of a vehicle.
