The plate has coupling devices with connecting units (12, 13) for mechanically and electrically coupling an electricity meter (11) to a meter mounting board in a stand-by position. The coupling devices include openings (7, 8) for insertion of the connecting units projecting from the meter. An insertion opening for a key lock and an insertion opening (10) for a lead seal are provided for locking of the meter on the plate.
