Screw-type rotary compressor has large rotor intermeshing with secondary smaller rotor with convex peak interface profiles

A screw-type rotary compressor has a series of external detents (i) in the main rotor and further detents (i+ z) in the parallel adjacent rotor. Each rotor has peaks and troughs. The peaks in both rotors have a convex, circular sector. In the secondary rotor these curved sectors translate left and right to concave profiles. The main rotor peaks translate via a tangential interface to a basin profile.
