The multi-caliber system marks ammunition caliber on the breech block of a pistol lock frame with two or more retaining plates or claws (1). They are moveably situated on the lock frame using pins arranged around the breech block. The invention also comprises a lock frame with this system used to load and shoot cartridges whose case bases can be of different diameters.
