The arrangement has an alphanumeric displaying device (16) connected with a control equipment for displaying operation-relevant parameters. A control panel (18) is provided, where the parameters displayed by the displaying device are selectable by the panel. The parameters are partially changeable over the panel. The displaying device is designed in such a manner that the parameters are represented in different orientations. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for controlling a feeding arrangement of an electrical component (2) a method for controlling a mounting machine for mounting of substrates with the electrical component.
