A process cooling tower has an array of hot water pipes with an inlet and an outlet. The array has two base plates resting on two supporting plates separated by several pipes also coupled to the supporting plates. Each supporting plate has several link holes, each with an inner thread. Each pipe has two seals at each end. The ends of each pipe are inserted into the respective link hole. The assembly further has a number of bolts, each incorporating a passage and an outer thread that engages with the link passage thread. The end of each pipe is inserted within the respective bolt hole, so that the seals are pressed together between the pipes and the interior surface of the link passage.
