The device has an anchor unit retained against a force of a spring unit through a force of a magnet unit (3) at pole surfaces of a magnet yoke. A trigger unit (21) is in working connection with a trigger slider (20), where energy on a switching latch of a switching device is transferred for opening electrical contacts. The slider forming a part of the trigger unit is adjustable as slide in a guideway. An independent claim is also included for a protection switch gear with a trigger device.
