The valve has a needle guidance (8) for guiding a valve needle. A valve plate has a stopper that limits axial movement of the needle in direction of an injection valve opening path. The valve plate is isolated against the guidance. A contact spring, contact retainer and signal line stand in contact with the guidance, and are arranged such that they bridges the plate at a surface area of the plate lying outside in a radial direction. The contact spring, contact retainer, signal line, and the outer lying surface area of the valve plate have an insulator in between them. The contact plate is firmly connected at a valve body by a non-conducting connection using glue. A valve body has a passage via which an electrical conductive line is misplaced, where the line is provided in contact with the contact spring, contact retainer and signal line.
