The end section of a protection pipe (5) is arranged in the vicinity of a concrete plate (1) in at least one box (7) that is partially concreted into the concrete plate and protrudes above the concrete plate on top. The box has a base segment (8) and whose base wall (20) has at least one through-hole (19) with a passage through which at least one protective pipe goes and several frame segments (9) that are side by side. The base segment and the frame segments may be held together via screws (15). The frame segments may have a height of between 15 and 30 millimetres, ideally 25 millimetres. The box may have, on its upper side, a closeable metallic cover plate (13) on which at least one inner pipe (11) is fixed. The box may be filled with a lump of grout.
