Semiconductor laser module (1) comprises a semiconductor laser in a housing (2), a lens (3), an optical fiber (4) onto which light emitted from the laser falls via the lens and a holder (5) for the optical fiber. The laser, lens, optical fiber and holder are formed as an integrated modular structure. A space is provided in the integrated module for a flow path which communicates with ambient air via an adsorber. Preferred Features: The adsorber is activated charcoal covered with a porous fluorine leaf. Light emitted from the laser has a wavelength of 450 nm or less. The module is used in a printer imaging a film or photosensitive material used in a laser printer.
