The connection has a nipple (6), a sealing ring (8), an insert ring (10) and a coupling nut (12) at the outer side of a corrugated pipe (4). The nipple has a layer whose inner diameter and height coordinate to the outer diameter and height of the sealing ring, such that the layer is suitable to retain the sealing ring. The ends of the nipple are symmetrically formed to connect the ends of two corrugated pipes. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a corrugated pipe screw connection.
