The connection has a terminal piece (20) defining an annular groove (24), where a groove base (27) of the annular groove is merged with a front side (11) at an end of a corrugated pipe to connect the pipe with the terminal piece. The groove defines a balancing volume and receives excess liquefied medium, where the inner diameter (R-iN) of the groove is smaller than the inner diameter (R-i) of the pipe and the outer diameter (R-aN) of the groove is larger than the outer diameter (R-a) of the pipe. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pipe connection.
