The guide has chain links arranged with rollers (8) and guide rollers (11) with a machine moving along a section of a rotating way of the conveyor chain arranged guide rail (1). The two are separated from each other with a distance track (9) for the rollers of the chain links (5) and between them a groove (4) is provided into which the guide rollers are inserted. The guiding rollers lie on bolts of the chain links. The conveyor chain is moved over chain wheels such as a driving chain wheel. Magnets are arranged within a groove profile (4) of the guide rail (1). The magnetic circle over the free ends (13) of a bolt at the chain links closes over an air gap (17).
