The machine has chains (6) carried by machining zones (7) with cam rollers (1) to transport workpieces (4). Chain units are supported between horizontal guides (3) by the cam rollers and guide rollers (2). An upper pressing device (5) presses the workpieces on the chains such that the workpieces are fixed in the zones. A permanent magnet (8) is attached on both sides of a chain body between the cam rollers and symmetrically pulls the chains on the guides by an air gap and a magnetic force (9) developed between the magnet and the guides. A chain plate (10) is made of plastic or metal.
