The electrode has a flexible carrier unit, and an adhesive layer fastening the electrode on a skin of a patient. A removing aid (4) is formed by a non adhesive section of a cover unit arranged on the side of the carrier unit that faces the adhesive layer. The aid is coated with an adhesive on its side that faces the carrier unit, where the adhesive has non sticking effect in a usage condition of the electrode.
