The arrangement has series connections of two quadripoles (A, B), each having two input and output terminals. The output terminals of the quadripoles are connected to the respective end caps of a lamp. The quadripole (B) is adjusted in such a manner that a series connection of the input terminals of the quadripole (A) and terminals of the end caps, which are connected with the output terminal of the quadripole (B), is compensated.
