The unit has a steering motor (1) and a traction motor (4) that are coaxially arranged relative to each other for steering a vehicle wheel and/or for actuating a traction movement, respectively . A drive shaft (3) of the motor (4) is connected with a fan (7) at an outer side of an outer wall of the unit in a torque-proof manner, where the fan blows the air along the outer wall in radial direction. The drive shaft (3) of the traction motor projects into a drive shaft (2) of the steering motor.
