Ambulance vehicle in particular for transport of person with highly infectious disease, comprising strong air filter unit

A patient suffering from a highly infectious disease, in particular a disease for which no medication is yet available such as bird flu or SARS, will contaminate the air inside and around the vehicle he/she is transported in. The new design of a specialized ambulance vehicle is fitted with a suction unit, a filter for the air released from the vehicle, a filter for the air entering, and a device for sterilizing the inside air (1) positioned at a carrying arm (2) above the patient. The air inside the vehicle is exchanged twenty times per hour.
