The system has a pane cleaning carriage moved in a rail-guiding-system by a windshield wiper system. The rail-guiding-system is inserted at an upper side and a lower side of the windshield in a pre-stressed manner by the windshield. The actuation of the carriage takes place by an electric motor that runs and is attached at a lower end of the carriage, where the motor drives a gear wheel that is in contact with a control shaft.
