The two-piece longitudinally split nut has an outer cone (7) for quick adjustment without turning having to turn the nut. In the counterpart (2), an inner cone has the same angle as the outer cone. The two-piece nut has four screws and four springs in order to press the latter apart during displacement. Only 2-3 rotations are required to tighten the nut no matter how long the spindle (3) is.
