The instrument has illuminants (3a, 3b, 3c) e.g. LEDs, and a controller (6) connected to the illuminants. Sensors (5) such as microphones, impact sound sensors and vibration detectors, are connected to the controller. The illuminants, the controller and the sensors are designed and connected with each other such that intensity and/or color of the illuminants are controlled depending on an operation of the instrument.
