A sensor reacting on moisture exceeding the highest naturally occurring level of air humidity is positioned under the bonnet of the vehicle. The contact with water initiates a switching action in one or more relays, their amount depending on the number of electrically moving windows and roof segments. The power circuits are interrupted and all escapes opened. A final shut-off mechanism is not integrated in the safety circuit.
