The flow distributor has an arrangement of bores of circular cross-section to split the main flow into several partial flows. The bores are arranged in radial zones, with an inner, outer and middle zone. The inner zone (2) has a central bore in the middle of the distributor and an annular set of bores of equal diameter whose middle points lie in a circle concentric to the distributor axis. The outer zone (4) has an annular arrangement of bores whose edges tangentially contact the outer edge of the main flow channel. The middle zone (3) fills the region between the inner and outer zones with bores.
