The device has a top lamella unit (90`) or a section of the unit (90`) or a lamella unit of a fan grill connected with a side wall of a design cover swivellably arranged in the grill. The unit (90`) or grill unit is designed as a finger-operable actuating unit for a locking device to lock and loosen a locking between the grill and a base housing. The cover is opened by a lateral actuation of the swivellable lamella unit from outside. The unit (90`) or a section of the lamella unit (90`) or a lamella unit of the fan grill (10) is swivellably arranged in the grill (10) about a rotation axis (DA) that runs in the longitudinal direction of the lamella unit. A filter pad is arranged between the housing and the grill.
