A support system for a railway track, especially for load transfer sites such as dock sides, has the rail sections (6) clamped onto support plates which are themselves supported on concrete beams (1) via vertical support bolts. Any subsidence in the rail track is corrected by threaded adjusters between the support plates and the vertical bolts.
