PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy for diecasting which attains stably high strength and high elongation even in a high strain rate such as collision when applied to automobile body parts such as joint parts for an A pillar, a B pillar, a C pillar, a roof and a space frame, and a suspension fixing part, and lightening is possible, to provide a method of producing a diecast product consisting of the aluminum alloy and a diecast product.;SOLUTION: The molten metal of the aluminum alloy having the alloy composition comprising, by mass, 10 to 12% Si, 0.15 to 0.50% Mg, 0.5 to 1.0% Mn, ≤0.15% Fe, ≤0.1% Ti, 0.05 to 0.20% Sb and 0.005 to 0.02% B, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities is cast into a diecast product by a high vacuum diecasting method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
