The machine has a pallet (7) placed on a table (6), and arms (4, 4) moving with respect to a frame (2) that supports the arms. A carriage (8) moving on the arms has a film unwinding device and a film folding arm. The film folding arm changes orientation of a film (10) when the film is situated above an upper side of the pallet to flatten the film on the upper side, when the carriage descends. An independent claim is also included for a stretch wrapping process of an upper side of a load.
