The device has a flexible, transparent and sterilized plastic film (34) that is unwound above a keyboard from a coil winder (5) before utilization of the keyboard, and is wound on a take up reel (6) after utilization of the keyboard. A plastic guide permits to stick the film towards a lower part of the keyboard in a user direction. A film voltage adjusting system permits to adjust voltage of the film. An independent claim is also included for a computer keyboard protecting method.
