Mobile terminal user guiding process involves guiding a user along a route composed of several segments, using guiding instructions transmitted to the user through his mobile terminal, where each segment is associated with a guiding instruction. The instructions are provided to the user with a maximum data capacity. The instructions are regrouped in messages sent successively to the user along the route. Each message has volume compatible with the capacity. Independent claims are also included for: (A) A computer program comprising the program code instructions for the execution of the steps of a user guiding process; and (B) A mobile terminal integrating the computer program.
