The method involves transmitting a geographical position of a mobile terminal towards a guiding device through a communication network during a connection of the mobile terminal close to the guiding device. Geographical information e.g. postal code of a city and country, corresponding to the determined geographical zone is transmitted towards the mobile terminal and is stored in the mobile terminal. A point of arrival of a user on a destination place is specified from the mobile terminal, where the arrival point is selected from the stored geographical information. An independent claim is also included for a system for guiding a user in a determined geographical zone.
