The support has an elastic body (2) arranged in a case (7). Vertical supports (4) are embedded in orifices provided at the rear of plates of a top (1) and of a base (3). The base has a contact surface supported by two grippers for permitting slight inclination of the support towards the rear. A reading light (6) is fixed to the body, where the top, the body, the base, the vertical supports and the light are transportable in the case.
