The injector has an injector body (1) with an end (2) penetrated in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine that is to be supplied with fuel. The end is provided with a thermoselective radiation layer. The layer has reduced degree of absorption at temperature in the order of 1200 degree Celsius to 1800 degree Celsius and high degree of emission at temperature in the order of 400 degree Celsius to 800 degree Celsius.
