The method involves lubricating a mechanism by utilizing a lubricant fluid that circulates in a lubricant circulating circuit. The cooling of the lubricant is ensured by passage of a part of the circuit inside a cooling liquid circulation chamber (2) of a casing (1) comprising a wall (11). The circuit part is completely submerged in the coolant and is in direct contact with the coolant. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an engine lubricant cooling device having a mechanism (B) a method for manufacturing a casing of an engine.
