Rubber composition (A) (without zinc) useful for the preparation of tires, comprises dienic elastomer (B); carbon black (less than 4 pce) (C); inorganic charge (reinforcing charge) (D); and silane-polysulfide (I). Rubber composition (A) (without zinc) useful for the manufacture of tires, comprises: dienic elastomer (B); carbon black (less than 4 pce) (C); inorganic charge (reinforcing charge) (D); and silane-polysulfide (I) of formula R3O-Si-(R1)-(R2)-Z-Sx-Z-Si(R1)-(R2)-OR3. R1, R2monovalent hydrocarbon (1-6C alkyls or phenyl radical); R3H or a monovalent hydrocarbon (1-4C alkyls or 2-8C alkoxyalkyls); Z : 1-18C divalent bond; and x : whole number or fraction equal or higher than 2. Independent claims are also included for: (1) tire comprising (A); and (2) tire tread comprising (A).
