The device has an air-conditioning system (2) comprising an air conditioning circuit (5) and a ventilator (16) for driving air in the circuit. A reception space (30) receiving an electrical component (4) is in fluidic communication with a zone of the circuit found in depression during functioning of the ventilator, such that the air surrounding the component is aspirated into the circuit. The space is separated from the circuit (5). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a cooling device.
