The vehicle has a roof which is movable with respect to a frame between a deployed position in which it covers the cab interior, and a folded position. A motor (13) and an endless traction cable drive the roof from one position to the other. Locking units lock the roof in one of the deployed and folded positions. The units are controlled by the motor and the cable when the roof is in each of its lockable positions.
