The device has an interfacial structure (5) between a metallic plate (3) and a plating side of a shelf (4). The structure has magnets (51) whose shearing resistance is equal to the maximum load of objects to be supported on a horizontal shelf (42) of the shelf (4). The structure integrated to the side has units (52) for blocking the shelf (4) on the plate. The structure is maintained against the plate by the action of the load. An independent claim is also included for a method for hooking of a removable support unit on a vertical surface of a wall or a board.
