The device has a control processor (120) to control demagnetization current in coils (109, 111) of electromagnets (108, 112). Corrections are calculated based on real symmetry defect calculated from symmetry defect between opening and closing of a valve (118) and other corrections applied during opening and closing of the valve. The processor applies the former corrections during the calculation of control of the current. An independent claim is also included for an internal combustion engine provided with an electromechanical actuator controlling device.
