The device has a trough (8) filled with soil, placed on a high pile (9) and comprising an orifice at its base, where the plants shoot from the soil in the trough. A reservoir (10) provided with a valve (11) is fixed under the base of the trough in a removable manner so that the orifice is accessed by withdrawing the reservoir. The valve is opened in order to empty the water into a bucket placed below the valve.
