The method involves preparing a mixture containing a polymer (1), a liquid foaming agent plasticizer (3) and an active charge (2). The mixture is extruded in the form of slurry. The slurry is deposited on both sides of a substrate e.g. current collector, and laminated. The complex thus formed is treated for eliminating all or part of the plasticizer and creating the porosity in an electrode. An independent claim is also included for a super-capacitor comprising a calendered electrode-collector-electrode complex.
