Traffic lane access control gate for e.g. tollbooth, has springs interposed between support, carrying guard rail, and frame of safety unit, where rail is retracted laterally contrary to spring action when preset thrust is exerted on rail
The gate has a safety unit (5) with a frame (6) integrated in rotation to a drive shaft (3), and a vertical pivoting axle (7) carried by the frame. A support (8) pivots mounted on the axle and carries a guard rail (4). Helical springs (9) are interposed between the support and the frame. The rail is retracted laterally contrary to the action of the springs when a predetermined thrust is exerted on the rail.
