The device has frames (14, 22) whose branches are extended by two horizontal arms and two vertical arms, respectively. The horizontal arms are terminated by the respective vertical plates (17, 20) carrying horizontal slots to display 1, 2 and 3 segments. The vertical arms are terminated by the respective horizontal plates carrying vertical slots to display 4, 5, 6 and 7 segments. A control mechanism actuates pins to move the plates.
