Use of rimonabant and N-piperidino-5-(4-bromophenyl)-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-ethylpyrazole-3-carboxamide, as cannabinoids (CB 1) receptor antagonists (I), for the preparation of medicaments useful to treat and prevent renal diseases. ACTIVITY : Antidiabetic; Nephrotropic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Cannabinoids (CB 1) receptor antagonist.
