The method involves flatly arranging a set of optical fibers so as to form a bundle or a layer (1c). The fibers are joined together at one of two ends of the bundle for being subjected to a visible light source (2). The bundle of fibers is integrated to a support. The support is subjected to an etching operation using laser to form light patterns (5) by removing a material from the support. A sheath surrounds each fiber so as to pass the light emitted by the fibers to the patterns. An independent claim is also included for a support with light patterns obtained by a light pattern forming method.
